NEW Hotel / Motel Temporary Visitor Occupancy Tax

    I intend to propose and to support into town law, a NEW hotel / motel 6% temporary visitor's occupancy tax, to be charged and imposed upon visiting patrons, using Hotel rooms, travelers and visitors to all Colleges, which will be used as one of the substitutions to offset Town of Poughkeepsie resident tax payer’s relief.

This is a non-intrusive tax to our Town residents.
