"Strong Supervisor" and "Police Commissioner" Powers

    I intend to propose and support into town law, giving the Town Supervisor “VETO” powers.

    To propose and support into town law, assigning a new position to the Town Supervisor as Police Commissioner, to oversee all Law Enforcement in the Town of Poughkeepsie, and to create and establish a new “Volunteer Auxiliary Police Force” for a major increase in Police Protection, of which would result in the immediate and long-term reduction of the future financial liability to the taxpayer.
