Police Officers, Firefighter Honored for Service

Stephen Buchman of the Glenham Fire Department was named firefighter of the year for helping an accident victim cling to life in November.

"I'm honored," Buchman, a 14-year firefighter, said before he was announced as firefighter of the year. "It's a pretty exciting feeling -- a good feeling."
