Brand New Preventative Strategy Against Crime
The present Sheriff's regimes, "views against crime": are to arrest the criminal if possible, after the crime has been committed.
As Sheriff of Dutchess County, I would implement a "brand new"
crime prevention strategy, 1st, to deter and prevent crimes from being committed
by individuals, so as to eliminate the hardships of becoming a "Crime
Victim" for our citizens of Dutchess County; 2nd, to relieve and
eliminate the burden and strain upon the taxpayer, for the expense of
prosecution and incarceration of the criminal offender; thus, decreasing
criminal prosecutions, resulting in the "down-sizing" and
reduction of the "exploding" supported inmate population at the
Dutchess County (Hotel) Jail; as such, lowering the future tax burden upon the
people / taxpayers, for unnecessary criminal prosecution and incarceration.
