The 2003 "SHERIFF'S ELECTION" in Dutchess County
Should not be one of a popularity contest for the best "Good Ole Boy",
nor, should it be an "automatic vote" for a "special
political party" affiliated candidate; but, it should only be the best
individual for the position. This should only be determined by the people, to
re-elect the present Sheriff Anderson, by weighing his previous 4 year
accomplishments of his track record, if any, because being a "Good Ole
Boy" just don't cut-it any more; and as for his opponent "Saint
Angel", should the people evaluate his opinion for what a Sheriff
should do for the people who elected him; and most important is "Saint
Angel's" opinion of what he would attempt to do and what you would like
him to do for you. If your conclusion is, that "Saint Angel's"
opinion's are how you would like your Sheriff to engage in the performance as
"Chief Law Enforcement Officer" of Dutchess County, and the extension
of yours, "The People's Power"; only then should you "VOTE"
for "SAINT ANGEL for SHERIFF" of Dutchess County!
No matter who is Sheriff of Dutchess County, Criminal arrests will always continue to be made, criminals will continue to be sentenced and jailed; - but how it is directed and enforced, is what will determine the final cost of this outcome, of which is of major importance to the taxpaying citizen.
