In every Public Servant, "lies a hero within", taken for granted by the duties of the job; though there are times when a Police Officer / Peace Officer, Emergency Service Personnel and Public Officials, act "above and beyond" his or her duties putting themselves in harms way. It is unfortunate that those individuals go unmentioned and unacknowledged.
